52docs Week 2 - Look Into My Eyes

All eyes on LA at the moment, and the many many people devastated by the fires. I just read about a documentary filmmaker whose home and the whole project she was working on went up in flames. Sending so much love to everyone down there.

These dramatic events seem to portend a vision of the future in which catastrophe and destruction loom large, but who knows what really lies ahead?

Well, maybe the subjects of this week’s film.

We watched Lana Wilson’s The Departure back in a previous edition, and I’ve been looking forward to this new work for a while. It is released today on Max in the US.
