It has been a wait for a follow-up worthy of Listers but one just came out on Friday.

Come See Me In The Good Light is - I’m hoping - an interesting counterpoint to The Perfect Neighbor which I watched a couple of weeks ago and just couldn’t bring myself to recommend.

Both films premiered at Sundance this year, won prizes and picked up distribution with a major streamer. Both have a death at their center. But whereas TPN felt voyeuristic and exploitative of tragedy, CSMITGL offers a celebration of life in which the protagonist not only chooses to participate but gets to watch their own story and remind us through their life and death that every day is a gift.
