52docs / 12 - Goooooooooooooooool!

Continuing the sporting theme, this week we’re off to Mexico for an event whose erasure from the history books shows how far we’ve come in a few short decades.

There’s still some way to go but women’s soccer - and women’s sport in general - are rightfully on the rise.

Here in Portland we have a bar that only screens women’s sports, and while I’m probably more of a Weather Bar person, I’m stoked we have a successful women’s soccer team and fans with opinions.

I cheated a little and watched the first 20 minutes of Copa 71 to make sure it’s good. And…it is!
